Oct 31, 2023

Introduction:

An average of 40 people have a heart attack each day. Most people believe that a heart attack must be intense and immediately noticeable. Sometimes, however, heart attacks may not appear to be so severe. Heart attacks are dangerous because they can be deadly. A study found that one in five heart attacks is not visible. The result is that the heart muscles are severely damaged. If you're experiencing this, there are four signs you need to be aware of.

1. The chest can feel heavy, tense, or full of pressure.

You can observe someone suffering a heart attack and see them trying to breathe normally. Before they go unconscious, they may be able to hold onto their chest. A heart attack can cause chest pain, which may or not be painful. It could be severe in some people, but it can also be quite subtle in others. A heart attack can cause squeezing or pressure in the chest. Heart attack pain can appear in the middle or back of the chest. The pain may last for a while or disappear in a matter of seconds. In addition, a blockage of the veins can cause pain. These issues should be reported immediately to your doctor.

2. Feeling pain in your stomach, arms, back, neck or jaw?

Heart attacks can cause pain radiating to other areas of the body, including the chest. In addition, there may be uneasiness in your stomach, arms, back, jaws, and neck. Not everyone experiences the same symptoms. However, some symptoms can be indicative of a heart attack.

  • Feeling lightheaded

  • Pain in the jaw, neck, and back

  • There is pain or discomfort in the shoulders, arms, and back.

  • Breathing difficulties
